A unique experience - say your vows in the land of the midnight sun!
Just imagine that you are at the top of a fell and it's almost midnight but it's not dark. Your ceremony takes place within the magical light of the Midnight Sun which makes the scenery look mysterious. When you look down, you see that you are almost totally surrounded by wilderness.
Your marriage ceremony takes place at the height of 437m above the sea level at the top of the Kaunispää fell. After you have exchanged your vows with eachother you will be greeted by two reindeers and a local Sámi man. The reindeers bear a bottle of sparkling wine and your marriage certificate As you open the bottle of wine and celebrate your commitment to eachother you will be serenaded by the local man singing in a local mysterious way called joiku. The complete experience is a very special and spiritual occasion, one that will make memories to last a lifetime.
We can also arrange weddings in the small romantic wooden Tieva chapel or at the bank of the small crystal clear stream should you wish.
In the evening you can enjoy a very special wedding dinner with true Finnish hospitality in the log house restaurant.
On your wedding night why not upgrade your accommodation and stay in a Wedding Turf Chamber or the Queen Suite for an extra special end to your wedding day.
