I'm Jackie Kuflik, founder of Love Island Cakes in Paphos, Cyprus. I make stunning cakes for weddings and all sorts of other special occasions. I love what I do, and I get my greatest pleasure from seeing the delight in your faces when you first see your special cake.
I was a recognised expert in the field of cake decoration and sugarcraft in the UK for many years. I taught lots of people the secrets of great cakes and great cake design. I wrote books on the subject that are still recognised as being definitive.
I came to Cyprus and spent some time enjoying the sunshine and figuring out what to do next. A chance conversation led me to train some people here in cake making and sugarcraft. That reignited my passion, and I realised this is what I wanted to do. I had all the knowledge and experience - seeing what was around me was the stimulus to get started. I wanted the many brides in Cyprus to have the best I can offer.
