Sign of the Bellbird is located high up on the Port Hills of Christchurch. In a clearing sprinkled with Kowhai trees and the remains of the originally built 1914 tearooms and caretakers home. Sign of the Bellbirds is a breathtaking wedding location.

This remarkable venue unlike a lot of other wedding venues outdoors has the added bonus of the tearoom remains for shelter.
The scene from the caretaker/tearoom ruins is of Christchurch and the Southern Alps in the distance. A five minute walk from the remains offers panorama views of Lyttelton and the harbour as well as the bays and stretching out the ocean.
The package below is priced for a couple with no guests, and includes New Zealand's Goods & Services Tax (GST). Your booking will be confirmed upon payment of deposit.
