Dominating this luxury retreat is a medival tower, undoubtedly a reminder of the ancient city of Semifonte destroyed in 1202 A.D.
The estate has fifteen bedrooms and suites along with numerous public rooms. Each and every corner of il Borgo has been carefully and elegantly refurbished. Il Borgo consists of four buildings, there is an outside loggia, adjoining il Frantoio which can seat 40 people. In keeping with the fascination of the Borgo, there is a beautiufl breakfast room and there is a local style restaurant where guests can sample the best Tuscan wines.

On the 19th May 2023 we married in Jamaica and had a lovely day however leading up to the wedding we had a not of problems due to the hotel and perfect weddings helped us so much getting every sorted and was our side all the way and make our wedding day and whole stay amazing. From the start perfect weddings took the stress away from us and booked 16 people on one large booking with Tui. Royalton made the decision to close one of the hotels (our hotel was part of a bigger resort two hotels) this meant what we was sold was no longer there and our wedding had to move they wanted to put us in a meeting room!!!! perfect weddings made it clear to the hotel this was not a wedding venue and they had to move this!!!
Due to everything perfect weddings sorted out a lovely upgrade for us (after a lot of tears from the bride). Perfect weddings is an amazing company to use and they help with everything and make it all clear. Royalton hotels i would not recommend to anyone however perfect weddings went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely time and day. Our whole family and friends had a lovely time as well.

We were so lucky as the weather also played ball and all in all, it was a truly magical day and evening. Our guests were blown away by the setting, and all appreciated spending a few days in Sorrento before and after the main event! Beats getting married under a grey and cold English sky any day..
